Intergenerational Program
The Elmbrook Education Foundation’s (EEF) Intergenerational Program provides adults of all ages opportunities to meaningfully connect with our Elmbrook students. After a very successful pilot program in 2023-24, the Intergen Program will expand to have volunteers working on literacy with 2nd and 3rd graders at two Elmbrook elementary schools (Swanson and Dixon) starting in early October 2024. Brief training and orientation sessions will be held for volunteers on Oct. 1 and 2, 2024.
EEF is excited to partner with Elmbrook Schools and other organizations across the community to promote this academically focused pilot program.
This is just the beginning of what we hope will be an enduring effort benefiting every age group in our community!
