Unified Sports

Our major funding initiative for the 2025-26 school year is Unified Sports.
Unified Sports is an inclusive sports program in which students, both with and without disabilities, are brought together to work as a team, form new relationships, and compete in a friendly environment. The program was started in Elmbrook's high schools in 2021 by Brookfield East's Hannah Christianson, and has continued to flourish at the high school level.
Now entering its fourth year, the program is strategically expanding into Elmbrook's middle schools to reach even more students and deepen its impact.
Scope of Impact
- INCLUSIVE PARTICIPATION: Students of all abilities participate on the same team in sports supported by coaches and peer mentors.
- RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Promotes empathy, teamwork, and positive peer interactions across grade levels.
- STUDENT LEADERSHIP: Provides leadership and advocacy opportunities for students to advocate for unity within their school communities.
- DISTRICT-WIDE CULTURE: Encourages a school environment that aligns with Elmbrook's core values such as belonging and wellness.

Our Commitment
To sustain and grow this impactful program for the next 10 years, the EEF has committed to raise $75,000 in funding. This investment will support
