The Elmbrook Education Foundation’s (EEF) Intergenerational Program is growing! After a successful launch at Swanson Elementary in 2023, the program will expand to all five Elmbrook elementary schools for the 2025-26 school year — and more volunteers are needed to support young readers.
Volunteers meet weekly with small groups of 1–3 students to help build oral reading fluency and boost confidence. No teaching experience is required; just a love of reading, patience, and enthusiasm to work with elementary students.

The Elmbrook Education Foundation proudly hosted EEF Scholarship Night on June 2 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, celebrating the achievements of outstanding Elmbrook seniors. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, PTOs, community groups, and family honorarium and memorial funds, over $105,000 in scholarships were awarded to students from both Brookfield East and Brookfield Central High Schools this year. It was an inspiring evening filled with stories of resilience, leadership, and bright futures ahead.

Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) will host the 3rd Annual Explore STEAM, presented by Generac and Milwaukee Tool, on Wednesday, April 9th, from 4:30-7pm at the Brookfield Central High School Main Gym. This event is a hands-on, interactive experience for the whole family. Children in grades K4-8th grade will have the opportunity to explore the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math as they move between the community sponsored booths.
