The Elmbrook community honors the life and legacy of Meg Wartman through the creation of the Meg Wartman Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Meg was a proud Brookfield resident, devoted mother and grandmother, and passionate advocate for public education. She served the Elmbrook School District for 12 years on the School Board, including three years as Board President, before continuing her dedication to public service as Waukesha County Clerk for six years. Meg will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.
In celebrating Meg’s lasting impact on our community, the scholarship fund will support future students while carrying forward the spirit of service and compassion that defined her life.
Contributions to the scholarship are managed by the Elmbrook Education Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), and are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
